7:08 PM Progressive Dinner

It's that time. Balance and self restraint are the two most difficult things this time of year.

Balance- Work. Play. Family.

How do you do it?

Work. For me work is play right now. I love it. I know it's unique. If only we were all in that place.

Play. I have play other than work. Recovering from a major injury is limiting that play, but I'm almost there. I have the itch and that's a dangerous time. Gotta turn the throttle down a little.

Family. I love my family. I would be a mess without it. The stupidity of the things I would do without them would increase dramatically. They keep me grounded.

Progressive dinners are both fun and hard. With the drinks, the appetizers, the driving, the main course, the deserts, and the white elephant gift exchange. So much can go right and so much can go wrong.

I have shot some photos at each of the last 4 years of progressive dinners with our friends. This year the goal was to capture the “moment” where no one knows I‘m doing it.
