This past weekend we had our annual picnic at the park. It gives us all a chance to get our families together outside of work or a bike event. It's a pretty modest deal- we get a couple of "johnny jumps," have some games, eat some food, and cap it off with a pinata for the kids. We operate a pretty good kid factory. I believe there were more kids this year than adults.

Back to the pinata. Probably the highlight of the day for many of the kids. In years past everyone got a chance to swing a bat at it, youngest to oldest of course. This year was a bit different. Riley had a little set-back in the sack race and he was third up at the pinata. He wasted no time and came at it with a vengeance. One swing and he decapitated the thing. The candy didn't come out and the kids just stared at the pinata laying there until someone grabbed it, opened it up and poured all the candy out. Below is the shot that I captured of the event.
