6:36 PM Twenty Inch Bikes

I have been chomping at the bit to post up some BMX pics. The only reason I haven't yet was I wanted some fresh stuff other than what I shot at Heath Pinter's St. Patrick's Day Jam. I've been giving Jeremy over at Liquid-dirt.com access to those and he's been posting like a mad man!

Saturday I went down to Ventura to shoot Chris Arriaga for something you'll see later and just before packing up I knocked off a shot of Tyler throwing his bars on a bank. I took one set-up shot then gave it a few more and I liked the test shot better then any other. Sometimes it works out that way.

110mm 1/250 @ F8 ISO 160. AB1600 directly camera right with large dish and diffuser sock@ 1/4 power. Second flash is a Qflash about 10 feet in front of me almost in the frame at 1/4 power with one diffuser. The sun is camera left pretty high but did a nice job of lighting the right side of his face.
