The photo above was from the first day of the Bicycle Retailer Industry and News Dealer Tour. We started riding at about 9am and finished the day well after dark. Allen Needle from Giant Bicycles is trying to cool down from the 90 degree 90% humidity night.
This was my 5th BRAIN DC Dealer Tour. I was stoked to be on board again. I love shooting athletes, racing and events, but these tours add perspective to the realities of the bike business. Any of us that don’t work on the retail side depend on retailers to constantly sell through bikes and other bike related products to keep so many of us in jobs.
Beyond that it’s a great way to meet and hangout with people from other companies in relaxed low pressure way. Great times with the Pedros Trio, Dorothy from Todson, the gang from BRAIN, and of course many of the Giant folks.
