The shot above was during the final practice of the DH event during the MTB World Cup at Windham Mtn in New York. It was a long ways up steep terrain to get to that spot, and tells you everything you need to know about MTB fans on the east coast and the need for this level of competition in the USA. High expectations for crowds and overall energy were easily made. I have a feeling next year will be even better!

In order to make the course slightly more difficult they actually laid some rocks strategically on the trail during this little burst of a climb.
There were a number of privateer's running Giant Glory's. That was cool to see...
The Road gap was a big attraction. The crashes, live DJ, and Beer Garden certainly helped!
